Patented Safety Pumping Systems have long been recognized as the safest, most driver-friendly and easiest system to install and operate. No by offering the system as a System-in-a-Box kit less the pump, the safety features of a Safety Pumping System are priced within the reach of every fleet, particularly those who are swinging pumps from old tractors to new tractors. In fact, the SPS system is now significantly less expensive to purchase than hand fabricating a custom pump installation.
SPS pump systems are unique because they have a neutral position, so no product flows when the PTO is first engaged. Because the system has variable flow in both directions of flow, the driver can start pumping off product very slowly, checking all connections at low pressure and low volume. This safety feature alone drastically reduces chances of spills. The systemn has relief valve protection in both directions of flow which reduces the chance for spills due to hose or connection over-pressurization.
With over 3,500 systems installed nationwide, SPS systems are now the fleet standard pump system for many of the leading tanker fleets in the Country. SPS pump systems are installed on either the tractor, the truck component of a truck/trailer, or on the landing legs of the trailer and can be either PTO or hydraulicly driven. SPS systems simply bolt together without welding and, with Chassis GrabberTM mounting brackets, systems can be installed without drilling the truck frame.
